• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本研究は，祇園祭の山鉾の一つである船鉾を対象に３次元モデルの構築を行い，そのモデルの利用と可能性に関して検討を行う．船鉾は，普段は部材に分解されて船鉾収納蔵などに保存されており，毎年の祇園祭の際に組み立てられる．部材の組み合わせ方やその工程は一つの文化であり，それをデジタルアーカイブとして残すことには大きな意味がある．したがって，本3 次元モデルは，各部材ごとに内部まで精密にモデリングし，そのモデルを利用して，制作工程や内部構造をデジタル化することを目的とおいている．また，船鉾のような複雑な形状の文化財は，死角となる部分も多く，祇園祭の際でしか完成形の姿にならないため，各視野から観測できる3 次元モデルはとても有益と言える．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: The purpose of this research is to digitalize cultural assets called Funeboko which is one of the Yamahoko of the Gion festival and to apply the 3D model. Usually, Funeboko is separated into its components, and it is stored in the Funeboko storage warehouse etc., and is assembled at the time of the annual Gion festival. The way to combine the component and the construction process is regarded as one of the important cultural activities. Therefore, the goal of the modeling is to generate precise 3D model of each components, and to digitalize the assembly process and the internal structure. Moreover, cultural assets with complicated shapes like Funeboko tend to have some invisible portions, and since Funeboko is built only in the period of the festival it is useful to observe the model from any user-specific view.
