• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 2019年に制度化されたローカル5Gは，当初の期待を満たさない市場浸透で推移している．価格の低減が進まない事や導入/運用ハードルが高い，市場が受け入れるキラーコンテンツが生まれないといった課題が一般的に挙げられており，いまだに鶏と卵の関係が続いている．この関係は，日本国内だけでなく，各国のプライベート5Gも同様である．それゆえに，有力なベンダの撤退や撤退手前とも言える既存事業へのリソース再分配も起きた．一方で，キャリア5Gでは当面活用されないであろう3GPP仕様や独自機能の実装を目指し，ローカル5Gだからこそ光るコンテンツ提供を目指した動きも残存ベンダに存在する．とりわけ，産業向けのURLLC/RedCap，TSN対応や屋内ロケーションサービス等が挙げられる。ただし，これらの挑戦は，ベンダ/ユーザともに未知なる領域でもあり，今以上に双方立場の歩み寄りの基で「技術的合理性」と「経済的合理性」の確認が続く現実もある．そのような長らく続いている挑戦フェーズの中での「失望と希望」について，SIerの実務を通じて紹介する．無線技術領域に限らず，課題解決を目指すすべての方の今後の技術開発/ユースケース開拓/研究の一助となれば幸である．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Local5G which was institutionalized in 2019, has slower market penetration than initially anticipated. The chicken-and-egg issue persists because the most commonly reasons for that are “Price reductions are not achieved.”, ”Installation and operation are tough for users“ and “No killer contents”. This issue is not only Local5G in Japan but also internationally Private5G. Therefore, some leading vendors have withdrawn from the market, and some vendors downsized the Local5G business due to focusing on other business. On the other hand, some remaining vendors challenge to implement 3GPP specifications and proprietary features that are unlikely to be utilized in MNO for the time being, and take on to provide the contents that truly shines with Local5G. Especially, these include URLLC/RedCap, TSN-aware, and the indoor location (positioning) service. However, these are high challenges for vendor side and user side, and both vendor and user keep checking about technological rationality and economic rationality more than ever. I will share regarding the “disappointments and hopes” of challengers through our work. In addition, I hope this will be helpful for studying, technology and use case development for all challengers not just in the wireless field who aim to solve problems.
