• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: メールやチャットに代表されるメッセージングツールにおいて，絵文字は感情伝達を補助する非言語情報として活用されている．特に顔型の絵文字は感情伝達に適しており，また涙やハートなどの装飾パーツは感情強度の誇張に寄与するとされている．そこで本研究では，顔型絵文字の装飾パーツを即時編集することで，メッセージ送信時の細やかな感情や意図を視覚表現できるシステムを提案する．具体的には，装飾パーツの数や大きさを段階的に変更できるカスタマイズ絵文字と，タッチスクリーン上でカスタマイズ段階を即時指定するためのジェスチャ入力方法を提案する．提案システムを用いた2種類のユーザ実験の結果，装飾パーツの数や大きさの変化は，感情強度の伝達において表現しやすく視認できるとともに，送受信者の間に独特なコミュニケーションを生み出す可能性があることを確認した．また，提案する入力方式は短い学習時間のみを要し，日常における迅速なメッセージングを妨げることなく活用できることを確認した．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In messaging tools such as email and chat systems, emojis are used as non-verbal cues to communicate emotions. Face-like emojis are particularly effective for expressing emotions directly, and decorative parts such as tears and hearts increase the intensity of these expressions. In this study, we propose a system that enables rich emotional expression by allowing on-the-fly customization of these decorative parts to reflect the subtle nuances of the message. Specifically, we propose customizable emojis that can change the number and size of decorative parts in a few levels, and gesture input methods for quickly specifying the customization levels on touchscreens. The results of two user experiments show that changing the number and size of decorative parts on the fly is both expressive and visible in conveying emotional intensity, and has the potential to create a unique communication between sender and receiver. We also confirmed that the proposed method requires only a short learning time and can be used for rapid messaging in everyday life.
