• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: テキストベースのリアルタイムコミュニケーションにおいて，メッセージ作成の長時間化は円滑なコミュニケーションを妨げる．コミュニケーションを円滑に行うためには，相手が許容できる時間内にメッセージ作成を終える必要がある．これまでに，システムの応答時間に関する人間の許容応答時間については明らかにされている．しかし，システムを介したテキストベースの対人リアルタイムコミュニケーションにおいて，相手の応答をどれだけ待つことができるのかについては明らかにされていない．本研究では，テキストベースのリアルタイム遠隔コミュニケーションにおける対人許容応答時間の評価を行う．評価実験では，対話状況を1対1での特に目的のない自由な対話とし，「相手の入力状況の提示」および「対話段階の進行」による対人許容応答時間への影響についての検証を行った．評価実験より，以下の知見を得た．(1) 対人許容応答時間は，平均で1分51秒であった．(2) 相手の入力状況を提示し，対話の序盤に測定するという条件下において，対人許容応答時間は平均2分35秒であり，相手の入力状況の提示により，対人許容応答時間が長くなる可能性が高い．(3) 対話の経過時間は，対人許容応答時間に対して大きな影響を及ぼさない可能性が高い．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In text-based real-time communications, it may prevent smooth communications if typing a message requires a long time. A message must be sent with a duration that is acceptable to the other user involved in the communication. Other researches had discussed the range of system response times that would be acceptable to users. However, it has not been discussed yet the duration for which a user can wait for the other user's response. In this study, we evaluated the interpersonal acceptable response time in real-time remote text-based communication. In the experiment, we measured the interpersonal acceptable response time in casual one-to-one communication. We verified the effects of the providing of input status and the elapsed time of communication. Through our experiment, we obtained the following findings. (1) The average interpersonal acceptable response time is 1min 51 s. (2) The interpersonal acceptable response time is 2min 35 s when input status is presented to a user in an early phase of the communication. Therefore, providing input status has the effect of extending the interpersonal acceptable response time. (3) The elapsed time of communication does not significantly influence the interpersonal acceptable response time.
