• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Amami archipelago has the independent and unique history. It was the major source of grate green turban shells in ancient times, the trade route of the East China Sea and the northern part of Ryukyu Kingdom in medieval times, and the major source of sugar cane and brown sugar as the territory of Shimazu Family in early modern times. It also succeeded the culture of Southern Islands of Japan. We have to study how to exploit the historical and cultural heritage of Amami archipelago for promotion of the area of Amami archipelago and for academic resource.
