• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 詰将棋は思考パズルとしての精巧な論理性と音楽、美術のような感動を与える芸術性を持つ。我々は、詰将棋の傑作とは何かについて解明するために、単なる定性的な評価だけでなく、詰将棋のデータベース （約12000問題） を構築し、従来の作品に関する客観的データの収集、分析、考察を行なってきた。今回、主観と客観を結びつける実験として「将棋世界」誌で行なわれた7手詰・5手詰コンテストを研究題材として選んだ。まず、このコンテストの評価に影響を与えたと思われる項目について定量的に計測し、得点 （感性の総合評価） との相関係数や従来作品との差を分析した。たとえば詰め上がり図の閉塞度の小さな問題が高得点に最も貢献していることが明らかになった。さらに詰将棋のルールと感性についても定量的に考察した。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: A Tsume-shogi (mating problem of Japanese chess) has a logical aspect as a mental puzzle and an aspect of art. To evaluate the masterpieces of Tsume-shogi, scientific research based on quantitative analysis is needed in addition to qualitative analysis. We have constructed a database including about 12000 problems of Tsume-shogi, and analyzed several statistics. To bridge objective data and subjective data, we study tsume-shogi problems of the contest carried out by Syogi-Sekai magazine. We measure static and dynamic characteristics, and compute correlation coefficients between readers' scores and objective data. We clarified that the physical closedness of Gyoku (King) at check-mate is the most impressive factor.
