• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Inc., commonly known as Nikkei, is the publisher of five newspapers- The Nihon keizai Shimbun, The Nikkei Industrial Daily, The Nikkei Marketing Journal, The Nikkei Financial Daily and The Japan Economic Journal (English weekly). It not only publishers newspapers, but also analyzes, processes and stores in its electronic data bank a full range of economic and business information. Annecs(Automated Nikkei Newspaper Editing and Composing System) is the newspaper production system that utilizes this vest store of information. The system is organically integrated with two other in-house system-NEEDS (Nikkei Economic Electronic Databank System) and News (Nikkei Economic Wire Service), enabling the firm to provide information in three different forms--news papers, data service and electronic media. This introduction focuses on ANNECS's characterics and the process of its development.
