• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本論文では、いわゆる関数法に限定して、計算機でいかに芸術的な絵を生成するかを論じる。関数法では、一つの絵の中のパターンを生成するのにほんの少数の数学関数のみが用いられるので、微妙な感情を表現するのが容易でない。しかしながら、何度も試行を繰り返すと、かなり芸術性の高い絵を生成することができる。実際にそのような絵がどのように作成されているか、いくつかの作品を呈示して説明する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This article discusses generating artistic pictures with a computer, using only the so-called function method. Because only several functions are used to generate patterns in this function method, it is difficult to generate the subtle feelings necessary. However,after many trials, we are able to obtain very pretty pictures. By showing several examples, we will explain in detail the methods used in generating the pictures.
