• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 絵画は意味を生成する図像であると捉えた場合、同じ意味を生成する絵の要素の配置には共通性が見られる。例えば顔という意味を生成する絵には目や口や顔の輪郭という要素がふさわしい場所に配置されている。コンピュータに自律的に絵を描かせるという研究の過程で、この配置を守れば要素の形状はちがっても顔という意味は保持されることがわかっている。では、ある意味の配置と別の意味の配置同士を組み合わせたときにあらたな意味が生成されるであろうかという問題を検討してみた。その結果を報告する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In the point of view that a picture generates meanings, pictures which generate a similar meaning have a similar location. For instance, a picture which means “face” has the proper location for eye, mouse, nose and so on. Researching to make a computer draw a picture autonomously, a picture keeps a meaning even if shapes have been changed, keeping its location. Then, I checked new meaning would be generated if two different locations has been combined. This report describes this conclusion.
