• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本稿では，「誰がどの本文を用いて一揃えの『源氏物語』写本を作成したか」という伝写関係に関する文献学の疑問を，写本本文の変体仮名の字母と本文表記の相違に着目して考察する．調査対象として，兄弟関係にあるとの指摘がある紅梅文庫旧蔵本『源氏物語』と熊本大学附属図書館蔵本『源氏物語』を取り上げた． これらと関連写本を比較し， その本文の流通や伝写関係の調査結果を報告する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In this study, I consider the philological problem of how to gauge textual filiation -- how to determine, in other words, who used which source text when producing their own full copy of a given target work. This I seek to answer through the quantitative investigation of orthographical similarities (and differences), specifically those observed between contrasted trends in the usage of kana -character variants or Chinese characters. In particular, I examine several manuscripts of the Tale of Genji which previous scholarship has seen as deriving from the same source text, reporting moreover various apparent relationships to other extant texts as revealed by this quantitative analysis, and considering also the potential light these findings may shed on questions of textual circulation and inheritance.
