Unlike conventional login authentication which only verifies users’ identity once at the beginning of a system session, continuous authentication ensures high security by verifying periodically throughout the session. Considering the lack of continuous authentication databases, in this paper, we introduce a newly collected face and speech database for continuous authentication, which consists of 114 subjects. It is collected through a web-based conversational game between pairs of subjects. During the game, subjects’ facial videos and the corresponding speech data are automatically saved. As for facial videos, we also use a special display equipped with five surrounding cameras to capture from different viewing angles to include more pose variations. Besides, we provide baseline evaluations of state-of-the-art face recognition and speaker recognition methods on our database. We believe that our database will benefit the field of continuous authentication, leading to more secure authentication systems. |
