| 内容記述 | 現在，電子メールはコミュニケーションに多く用いられている．しかし，送信したメールが文字化けすることにより情報が正しく伝わらないことがある．文字化けの主な原因の 1 つとして機種依存文字の使用がある．文字コードを Shift-JIS や ISO-2022-JP として機種依存文字を含んだメールを送信すると，文字化けが発生してしまう可能性がある．さらに機種依存文字による文字化けが発生したメールに対して返信を行った場合も，文字化けが発生する可能性がある．そこで，本稿ではメールサーバに常時接続し，検査処理を行う IMAP エージェントを用いることで，ユーザが文字化けしたメールを読む前に自動的に文字化け対策を行うシステムを提案する． | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Currently, email is extensively used for communication. However, there are instances where the intended information is not accurately conveyed due to character garbling in the sent emails. One of the primary causes of character garbling is the use of platform-dependent characters. When emails containing these characters are sent with character encoding formats like Shift-JIS or ISO-2022-JP, there is a potential for messages to become garbled. Additionally, responding to emails that have been already garbled character are also garbled. To address this, we propose a system that automatically prevents email messages from character garbling before users read garbled messages by using an IMAP agent that constantly connects to the mail server to perform the inspection and process. | |||||||||||||
