• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 新しいポインティング手法を評価するとき，実験では「できるだけ速く正確に」タスクを行うよう教示するのが一般的である．しかし，速さと正確さのバランスは参加者ごとに異なり，これが結論に影響を及ぼす可能性がある．本稿では，3つの主観的バイアス（速さ重視，ニュートラル，正確さ重視）が，既存のポインティング手法であるBubble CursorとBayesian Touch Criterionの評価結果に与える影響を検証した．結果，Bubble Cursorは全バイアス条件でベースライン手法の性能を上回ったが，Bayesian Touch Criterionは，より単純なターゲット予測手法の性能を下回り，元の論文とは異なる結果となった．このように，複数のバイアスを調査することで，手法の特性をより正確に議論し，一般化可能性の高い結論を得ることができる．本稿では複数の主観的なバイアスを実験条件に加えることが望ましいと提言する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In typical experiments to evaluate novel pointing-facilitation techniques, participants are asked to perform a task as rapidly and accurately as possible. However, the balance between speed and accuracy varies among participants, which could affect the conclusions. We investigate the effects of three subjective biases (emphasizing speed, neutral, emphasizing accuracy) on the evaluation results of existing pointing-facilitation techniques, Bubble Cursor and Bayesian Touch Criterion. The results indicate that Bubble Cursor outperformed the baseline under all bias conditions, while Bayesian Touch Criterion performed worse than a simpler target prediction technique, resulting in different outcome from the original study. Therefore, by investigating multiple biases, we can more accurately discuss the characteristics of the pointing-facilitation techniques and obtain generalizable conclusions. We suggests that it is desirable to add multiple subjective biases to experimental conditions.
