• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 経験サンプリング法（Experience Sampling Method，以下ESM）の質問に対する回答率には個人差があり，特定の属性を持つ被験者からの回答が偏って集められてしまうという問題が指摘されている．ESMの質問に対する回答の仕方と被験者の属性の関係を分析する従来研究の多くはESM実施期間全体の回答数を調査している．一方で，回答数の時間的な変化についてはほとんど明らかにされていない．そこで本研究では，StudentLifeのデータセットを用いて，被験者の性格（神経症傾向，外向性，開放性，調和性，誠実性）および心理状態（うつ傾向，主観的ストレスレベル，孤独感，人生満足度）とESMに対する回答数の時間変化との関係を調べた．回帰モデルと潜在成長曲線モデルを用いた分析の結果，ストレスレベルが高いと申告した被験者ほどESMに対する総回答数が多かったが，時間の経過とともに強く減少する傾向が見られ，特に中間試験のようなストレスのかかる出来事の後に急に減少することが分かった．また，内向的な（外向性の低い）被験者は，時間の経過に対する回答数の減少傾向は弱いものの，学校祭のような社会的なイベントの後に回答する頻度が下がることが分かった．これらの結果をもとに，ESMで収集される回答データの個人特性や時間に対する不均一性について論じ，将来的なESM研究における推奨事項を示した．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Response rates to Experience Sampling Method (ESM) questions vary among individual subjects, which inevitably results in a disproportionate distribution of the ESM data volume to personal characteristics. Previous research has explored the relationship between response rates and personal characteristics; however, few studies focused on temporal patterns of response rates to ESM questions. In this study, using StudentLife dataset, we examined how personality traits (neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness, conscientiousness) and psychological status (depression, stress, loneliness, life satisfaction) relate to temporal response patterns in ESM. Primary results of our analyses using regression models and latent growth curve models indicated that the subjects with high stress levels had a higher total number of ESM responses, but their responses tended to decrease strongly throughout the experiment, especially after a stressful event such as the midterm examination. We also found that the subjects with low extraversion had a weak tendency to decrease the number of ESM responses throughout the experiment, but their responses decreased strongly after a social event such as the school festival. Based on our results, we discussed how the data collected with ESM studies are biased not only in terms of personal characteristics but also with timings.
