East/Central/West Nippon Expressway Company has been developing parking spaces exclusively for full trailers as a measure against parking lot congestion. This paper introduces the system and specifications used to efficiently operate the parking space. This system automatically manages vehicles in the parking lot through wireless communication (5.9GHzDSRC) between the ETC2.0 on-board units of drivers who have applied in advance and the roadside units installed in the parking lot. |
