• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 故人が残すデジタル遺品に対して，いわゆるデジタル終活の一環として削除や継承を担うサービスが出来たり，さらには故人を元にしたアバターを制作し再会ができるというサービスが検討されたりしている．では実際，遺族や近親者はどのよう対処し向き合うのか．本稿では，デジタル遺品のうちメールや SNS のアカウントおよび写真，投稿，チャットデータについて，2020 年～ 2021 年の間に近親者を亡くした国内の 20 代～70 代の男女を対象にした調査の集計結果を示す．その結果，アカウントはログインして削除またはそのまま放置されることが多いが，同居であればログインして削除，同居していなければそのまま放置が多数であった．残されたデータの扱いは，いずれも「わからない」が多数を占めたが，特に本人が写った写真では保存したいという意向やよく・時折見ているという向き合い方が見られた一方で，オンラインの投稿やチャットでは，続柄によっては「削除したい」「今後も見たくない」が有意に多く見られた．こうしたデータの扱いと向き合い方は続柄や葬儀参列の有無，同居の有無によって異なっていた．また，残されたデータをまとめるだけでなく，何らかの手を加えることについては，積極的な意向は見られなかった．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Services for deleting and passing on digital belongings left behind by the deceased have been established and services that create avatars based on the deceased to reunite people with their deceased loved ones are also being considered. Thus, how should bereaved family members and next of kin deal with this issue? This paper presents the results of a survey of men and women in their 20s to 70s in Japan who lost a close relative between 2020 and 2021, regarding their e-mail and SNS accounts, photos, posts, and chat data. As a result, the majority of the respondents said that their accounts are often logged in and deleted or left as they are, but if they live together, they log in and delete their accounts, and if they do not live together, they leave their accounts as they are. The majority of respondents were "don't know" what to do with the remaining data in both cases, but while the intention to preserve the data and the orientation of looking at it often or occasionally were observed, especially in photos of the person in question, significantly more respondents "want to delete" or "do not want to see it in the future" in online posts and chat, depending on the relationship In the case of online postings and chats, a significantly higher number of respondents "want to delete" or "do not want to see in the future" depending on the sequential relationship. The way in which these data were handled and dealt with differed depending on the relationship, whether or not they attended the funeral, and whether or not they lived with the deceased. In addition, there was no positive intention to not only compile the remaining data but also to modify them in some way.
