• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 突発性正常圧水頭症患者にシャント術を施すと，失語症や健忘症が発症する事例がある．血液脳関門で保護された脳室・脳脊髄液中を浮遊する B リンパ球が，シャントによって失われるからではないか．筆者は，脳室内を浮遊する B リンパ球が，言葉の音韻波形に特異的に結合する抗体をもち，言葉に関する記憶を司るという仮説を提案する．大脳皮質で言語処理するという説には，細胞・分子レベルの仮説が存在しない．筆者は，以下で細胞と分子を特定し，言語処理の脳内ネットワークモデルを提示する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Some patients with idiopathic normal-pressure hydrocephalus develop aphasia or amnesia after shunt operation. This may be caused by the loss of B lymphocytes floating in the ventricles and CSF protected by the blood-brain barrier. The author proposes the hypothesis that B lymphocytes floating in the ventricles control word memory by possessing antibodies that bind specifically to the phonological waveform of words. There is no hypothesis at the cellular or molecular level for language processing in the cerebral cortex. The author identifies cells and molecules and presents a brain network model for language processing.
