本研究では，高等学校の「情報」の授業で使用されている教科書全8冊と，米国で出版された高校生向けのセキュリティ教育テキスト全 3 冊を対象に，書籍内で取り上げられているセキュリティプラクティスとしてパスワードプラクティスを取り上げ，その記述内容に関する比較調査を行う．調査の結果，国内の教科書では出版社によって取り上げている内容は大きく異なること，2021 年現在，正しくない情報を掲載している事例があることが判明した．また，米国のセキュリティ教育テキストでは，日本の教科書に比べ多くのページを割いてパスワードプラクティスを詳細に説明していたが，2021 年現在では既に推奨されていない項目の記載も存在した．情報セキュリティの頻繁に情報が更新される特性と，執筆作業から検定を経て出版に至るまで数年かかる日本の教科書制度はギャップがある．ギャップを埋める解決策として，常に最新の情報にアップデート可能な電子的な副教材を採用することが有効であると考えられる． |

In this study, we conducted a comparative study of password practices in eight high school textbooks and three security education books for high school students published in the United States. As a result of the study, we found that the contents of domestic textbooks vary greatly depending on the publisher, and that there are cases in which incorrect information is included as of 2021.In addition, the U.S. textbooks devoted more pages to explain password practices in detail than the Japanese textbooks, but there were also descriptions of items that are no longer recommended as of 2021. There is a gap between the frequently updated nature of information security and the Japanese textbook system, which requires several years from writing to certification and publication. To bridge the gap, we believe that it would be effective to adopt electronic supplementary materials that can be constantly updated with the latest information. |
