| 内容記述 | 本研究では、キノコの菌糸を利用した菌糸材による「育つ楽器」を制作し、その実用的な側面と非人間的要素を持つ作品としての意義について考察した。本研究で用いた菌糸材は、環境負荷が小さい材料として注目され、建築やファッション分野で応用が研究されており、楽器という文脈においてもその応用可能性を持つと考えられる。本研究では、この育つ楽器を育てる実験を繰り返し、時間が経過することで生じた複数の変化について観測した。その上で、それら観測結果を分析し、これら育つ楽器が持つ楽器としての特徴と、人間以外の存在としての位置付け、について理論的観点から考察した。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | In this study, we created ”growing instruments” made from mycelium material derived from mushrooms and examined both their practical aspects and their significance as works imbued with nonhuman elements. The mycelium material used in this research has attracted attention as an environmentally friendly substance with a low environmental burden, and its applications have been explored in the fields of architecture and fashion; it is believed that it also holds potential in the context of musical instruments. We conducted repeated experiments to cultivate these growing instruments and observed multiple changes that occurred over time. Furthermore, we analyzed the observed results and discussed, from a theoretical perspective, both the distinctive characteristics of these growing instruments as musical instruments and their positioning as entities beyond the human realm. | |||||||||
