• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本研究は，代表的な暗号化 DNS 通信方式である DNS over TLS (DoT) の実態調査を行った結果を報告する．調査は (1) DoTクライアント ・ サーバを用いたローカルおよびグローバル環境における遅延測定，(2) 現状のインターネットにおける DoT 普及状況の大規模計測，(3) 2019 年 2 月現在におけるエンドユーザ向け DoT の実装調査の 3 部構成となっている．本調査の結果が DoT の現状理解と今後の普及に向けた一助となることを期待する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In this paper, we report an empirical study on the promising DNS encryption technology — DNS over TLS (DoT). The study is divided into the following three substudies: (1) a measurement study of the latency between DoT client and server in a local and global environment, (2) a large-scale measurement study on the adoption of DoT in the wild, and (3) a study on the state-of-the-art DoT implementation for end users. We hope that our study sheds a new light on the broad understanding of DoT and its widespread adoption.
