• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 義手は，その機能を通して日常生活を豊かにするための器官になり得るが，これまでの義手に関する研究では機能面に関する開発に主眼が置かれ，自己を表現するエンターテイメント性に着目した提案は少ない．本研究では，義手による楽器演奏を実現し，義手のエンターテイメント性の拡張，及び義手利用者の楽器演奏に対するモチベーションを向上させることを目的とした 「Musiarm」 を開発した． 本研究では，当事者の身体的特性を，その人のみが持ち得る 「価値」 として引き出し，楽器を身体の一部として機能させることを目標に，当事者，エンジニア，義肢装具士との対話を通して試作した．制作したプロトタイプを，今まで障害によって楽器を思う通り演奏できない，または普段演奏を行わない片腕前腕欠損の当事者に使用してもらった．ユーザビリティテストの結果，Musiarm を用いることで，当事者の演奏行為への興味を喚起し，演奏表現を楽しむことができる可能性が明らかになった．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Prosthetic hands can become organs to enrich daily life through its function. However, the past research on prosthetic hands focuses mainly on developing functions. There are few proposals focusing on entertainment for prosthetic hand users. In this research, we developed “Musiarm”, the prosthetic instruments, in order to extend the entertainment of prosthetic hands, and improve the motivation of prosthetic hand users for the performance. “Musiarm” was designed with the handicapped, engineers, prosthetist. We see the physical characteristics of handicapped person as the unique value that the person can possess, and made instruments as a part of the body. We asked handicapped people who can not play musical instruments or do not usually play, to use prototypes we made. As a result of the test, it is revealed that using “Musiarm” enhances the prosthetic hand users' interest for performance, and even generates the new expression way for them to enjoy performance.
