内容記述 Network Traversal with Mobility (NTMobile) is a next generation technology that can eliminate various kinds of restrictions in existing IP networks, and it realizes mobility and connectivity at the same time. In NTMobile, end nodes basically communicate directly with each other. However, when communication cannot be made directly between nodes, as in the case of the corresponding node being a General Server, it needs to communicate via an RS (Relay Server). In such a case, the communication route will become redundant, as compared to the case of direct communication. In this Paper, we propose a new method of selecting the optimal RS by counting the number of hops between the end nodes via an RS. Based on the proposed method, it is possible to make communication through the optimal route. We have implemented a prototype system in the Linux environment, and verified its operability in a virtual machine. We have also evaluated the performance of the prototype system, and it was confirmed that the overhead for the selection of the RS is almost negligible.
