As web based communication technologies advance, web-based remote collaboration systems are getting popular. However, when real time media is exchanged we cannot assume that remote users receive all media sent, mainly when the network connection is unstable. The purpose of this paper is to improve web-based remote collaboration systems utilizing visual feedback for audio communication. We implemented our approach, and investigated the effects on the collaboration work. |
