• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 高性能の機械翻訳システムの実現には いかに効率良く高精度な翻訳規則を獲得するかが解決すべき重要な問題となっている.本論文ではこの問題を解決するため 対訳コーパスを統計的に分析することによって得られる単語の対応付けと その対訳文を構造照合することにより得られる構文構造の対応付けの結果から翻訳規則を獲得する方法を提案する.その翻訳規則は構文構造レベルの対応関係を持ち 訳語の選択規則や複数単語から構成される翻訳定型パターンからなる.3種類の日英対訳コーパスを利用した翻訳規則の獲得実験を行い 本システムが動詞の訳語選択規則と翻訳定型パターンに関する適切な翻訳規則を獲得できることを示した.

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Acquisition of high quality translation rules is the most important factor in realizing transfer-based machine translation. This paper presents a method for automatic acquisition of translation rules from a parallel corpus. The acquisition process uses the similarity measure of word pairs obtained statistically from the parallel corpus and the structural matching of the dependency trees obtained from parsed parallel sentences. This translation rules are acquired according to the types of the matching results. The rule types are word selection rules, and fused or idiomatic translation patterns. The experimental results using three kinds of Japanese and English parallel corpora for practical use show that this method performs very well in obtaining rules and patterns for machine translation.
