• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本論文は紙と電子メディアのスムーズな統合を目的とした机型実世界指向システムEnhancedDeskとその応用について述べる．システムはページに貼られた2次元バーコードを認識すると，自動的にそのページに関連する電子情報をデータベースから検索し机上に投影する．ユーザはその電子情報を自分自身の手指によって直接操作できる．ユーザの手指認識のために，我々は赤外線カメラ，テンプレートマッチング，パンチルトカメラを利用した新しい手法を開発した．本手法を用いると，ユーザの手指を実時間で高精度に安定して認識することができる．EnhancedDeskの応用例として計算機支援型学習環境Interactive Textbookを試作した．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper describes an augmented desk system, named EnhancedDesk,which aims to integrate paper and digital information smoothly.When the system recognizes 2-D barcode attatched on the page which has digital information,the system automatically retrieves the digital information and projects them onto the desk.Users can manipulate the digital information using their own hand or finger.To recognize users' hand/finger,we developed a novel method for hand/finger detection using an infrared camera,template matching technique, and a pan-tilt camera.Using our method, users' hand/finger is recognized in real time.We also showed an application of EnhancedDesk to computer supported learning environment,and the system was named Interactive Textbook.
