| 内容記述 | 十六観図とは、東アジア仏教において大きな位置を占める浄土教の造形芸術のうち、阿弥陀の西方極楽浄土の場景を観想する方法を十六段階に分けて描いたものであり、中国浄土教またその流れを汲む日本浄土教の思想的変遷を探るうえできわめて貴重な作品群である。本論文は、中国・敦煙莫高窟を中心とする現地調査によって得た描き起こし図を対象とした、メタデータ管理システム(ASPICO)による十六観図データベースの構築について述べる。またデータベースの数量的分析に基づく十六観図の分類を試み、著者らが以前に手作業で行った分類結果と同様の結果を得たことを報告する。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | Our study is devoted to making the database of Paintings of Sixteen-Contemplation and its quantitative analysis for classifying paintings. These paintings are the works of Pure Land Buddhism, one of the most popular Buddhist schools in East Asia. They describe how to contemplate the scenery of that paradise by sixteen steps and present inevitable sources for the study on that sect. We report the outline of the database made on the network-based metadata management system (ASPICO), and the quantitative analysis of the database that produced similar classification results to that by manual classification previously done by authors. | |||||||
