• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: WWW上の日本語ウェブページが発信する情報のなかには，諸種の物事に対する要求も含まれている．要求の情報源としてWWWを利用するためには，日本語ウェブページに記述されている文からの要求抽出が重要な課題になる．この課題の克服に近づくためには，早計に方法論研究を行うのではなく，「文から要求を抽出するための言語学的基礎論」を整えていく必要がある．そのような言語学的基礎論の設定に向けて，(1)文レベルでの要求概念の定義，(2)所与の文が要求を表現しているか否かを判別するために必要な言語学的知識，がすでに与えられている．文から要求を抽出するための言語学的基礎論の一部として，さらに(3)複文における諸種の接続節における要求表現の可否や，要求を表現し得る接続節はどのような場合に要求を表現するのかに関する言語学的知識，が必要である．本論文では，諸種の接続節のうち並列節と補足節を取り上げて，上記(3)を明らかにした．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Those pieces of information which Japanese web pages in the WWW transmit include requirements to a variety of things. In order to use WWW as the information source of requirements, it becomes an important problem to extract requirements from sentences described in Japanese web pages. To get closer to conquest of this problem, it is necessary to create "a linguistic foundation to extract requirements from a sentence" without conducting methodological study hastily. Toward creation of such a linguistic foundation, the following (1) and (2) have been already given: (1) A definition of the concept of requirement at sentence level; (2) Linguistic knowledge which is necessary to judge whether a given sentence expresses a requirement. As a part of a linguistic foundation to extract requirements from a sentence, furthermore, the following (3) is necessary: (3) Linguistic knowledge about what kind of connective clause in a complex sentence can or cannot express a requirement; and about what situation the connective clause that can express a requirement expresses a requirement in. This paper has addressed a parallel clause and a complementary clause among a variety of connective clauses, and has clarified the above (3).
