• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: DIA-Expertシステムは、画像解析における画像処理研究者／技術者の持つ知識・ノウハウを知識ベース化し、画像解析の処理系列をユーザとの対話によって半自動設計するものである。我々は対象領域を粒子画像とし、粒子画像解析のための支援システムDIA-Expert/PA1(Particle Analyzer version 1)を開発した。実際に20数種類以上の多様かつ複雑な粒子画像に対する解析実験を進めながら、その経験やノウハウをDIA-Expert/PA1の知識ベースとして表現した。本稿では、体系的に整理した粒子画像解析に関する知識の内容について述べる。また新しく開発した多角形近似による接触した粒子の分離手法についても報告する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: DIA-Expert is an interactive consultation system which aids the design work of image-analysis procedures. The system is supported by a knowledge base which represents personal expertise or knowhow of image-processing specialists. The prototype system specific to the particle analysis is called DIA-Expert/PA1 (Particle Analyzer version 1). Experience or knowhow which is acquired thru the image-analysis experiments on more than twenty kinds of particle-image samples is systematized into the knowledge base of DIA-Expert/PA1. This paper describes the contents of the systematized knowledge. The newly developped particle-segmentation algorithm using polygonal approximation is also described.
