| 内容記述 | 歯科矯正治療によって、歯と歯槽骨の位置ならびに形態が変化し、その上にある軟組織も変化し、側貌、正貌、特に口元が変化し、表情も豊かになる。歯科矯正治療前後の形態変化とその表情変化を調べている。また、外科的矯正治療後の形態変化について非接触型三次元表面形状計測装置を用いて研究している。これらのデータに診療で用いる、レントゲン写真、顔面・口腔内写真、歯列模型などの各種データを加えて治療後の３次元予測顔貌の開発を行っている。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | Facial appearance is usually improved after orthodontic treatment and the effect of this are examined using average facial images. The changes on the surface of the face are examined after orthodontic treatment in combination with orthognathic surgery using optical surface scanner. The form of the lip and nose changed and the facial expressions became rich after orthodontics and those who underwent orthognathic surgery. The algorithm of the prediction of the face after the orthodontic treatment is developed and its accuracy is improved by repeating examination, prediction, treatment and evaluation. | |||||||
