| 内容記述 | 本報告は、記述する項目内容が定められている文書を対象に、複雑な言語解析を避けて、項目名と表現の特徴という表層的な情報を利用することで、テキストの抜粋である抄録を自動的に作成する手法について述べる。まず項目名を利用して、抄録を抜粋する対象の段落を項目単位で絞り込む。次に、抄録となりやすい表現上の特徴を記述したルールをもとに、抄録の抜粋範囲を決定する。本報告では、記述項目が比較的統一されている特許公報を処理対象とし、プロトタイプの試作と評価を実施した。評価結果から、品質と処理速度の両面で、人間が要約を作成する際の支援システムとして利用できることを確認した。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper describes a method of generating an abstract by extracting important sentences from the text. Instead of performing a deep text analysis, field names and specific expressions that usually adress important information are used. First, fields containing important sentences are chosen by locating filed names. Then regions in the fields are determined by referring to the rules that define specific phrases to be included in the abstract. The method is implemented in a prototype system which processes patent documents. Evaluation results show that the system produces an abstract of good quality in reasonable processing time. It can be used to help create summaries currently done by human experts. | |||||||
