• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 遠隔キャンパスにおいて複数の教室で同時に講義を行うため、ライブ遠隔講義システムが導入されるようになっている。そのような遠隔講義では通常の対面講義に比べ、講師がカメラおよび遠隔の教室を意識して講義をしており、また、利用する資料を電子化したり、黒板に書く文字も大きくしている。そのため、講義を映像等で記録するディジタルアーカイブの素材として、通常の対面講義よりも適している。本稿は、ライブ遠隔講義の様子をMPEG2品質でディジタルアーカイブし、オンデマンド遠隔教育用素材として利用するためのシステムを紹介し、その中でMPEG2/ATMとMPEG2/IPの変換に利用しているソフトウェアmpeg2tsなどについて述べる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In the institutions of higher education, hundreds of intellectual activities are performed everyday. It is very important for the institutions to have the system which can archive such activities efficiently and systematically. However, it will not be the good materials for on-demand distance learning even though we record the usual lectures. On the other hand, the live distance lecture is performed for the distant students. In this case the lecture pays attention to the distant students, is aware of being taken by a camera and writes the characters larger on the black board. Therefore, the record of live distance lecture is suited for the materials of on-demand distance learning by nature. In this paper, we describe the MPEG2 over IP transfer system and the live lecture archive system that is added to the MPEG2 over ATM based live distance lecture system currently operated in Hiroshima University.
