• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 分散システムのサーバ群においては、ネットワークの拡大やシステムのブラックボックス化が進み、開発段階からの負荷予測が困難になってきている。これには、しきい値によるキャパシティ管理手法に加え、稼働実績値を基にしたしきい値の無い相対的な管理手法を併用することが効果的と考える。本稿では開発と運用部門が管理ルールを共有すべき必要性とその管理例を示し、これに加えてＣＰＵ使用率による相対的な管理手法を提示して、その有用性を示す。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Because of the escalation in both network scale and degree of the systems being a Black Box, it's becoming harder to forecast the load on the server group in distributed systems at the development phase. To break this difficulty, it is quite effective to use the relative management technique based on the actual performance values at running phase, in addition with the traditional management technique setting the threshold from the development phase. I show the merit of sharing management rule between developing teams and operating teams, and give a sample case. Moreover, I present a relative management technique using CPU utilization to show its effectiveness.
