• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 構内用PHSにおいて、高精度に移動局の位置を検出する方式を考案し、これに基づく実験システムを開発した。構内全体をカバーするように配置した事前測定ポイント上で受信される複数基地局の電界強度データを収集しておき、検出時、移動局で測定された複数基地局の電界強度データに類似した事前測定データを検索し、これに対応する位置情報を用いて、移動局の位置を推定する方式である。位置検出精度は、屋内で平均誤差約11m、屋外で約23mという評価結果を得た。これを利用することで、警備員の位置管理、医師・看護婦の位置管理、また遊園地等における迷子探索、美術館・博物館等の情報サービスなど、多様な位置検出アプリケーションを実現することができる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: We have invented a method of locating a position of PHS mobile stations with a high accuracy in a private network , and developed a locating system to evaluate the accuracy of locating by this method. In this method, at first, radio wave strength levels from base stations are measured at a plurality of pre-measuring points arranged over the area, and in detecting process, some pre-measured data which resemble a radio wave strength levels received by a mobile station from base stations are searched, and according to the positional informations corresponding to the premeasured data, the position of the mobile station is estimated. The average accuracies of locating position are about 11m inside of buildings, and about 23m outside of that. We can apply this locating method to many locating or navigating systems, for example, location management of guardmen or doctors and nurses, searching lost children or wandering old people, and information services in musium.
