| 内容記述 | 地理情報システム(GIS)は インターネットやモバイル技術と融合することにより 行政情報化のみならず 地域情報化を推進するうえでの有力なツールとなりうる. しかしながら 空間データの整備・維持をGIS導入組織ごとに行なうことはコスト負担の点から困難であり 地域での空間データの流通・共有の仕組みが不可欠となる. 本稿では 岩手の産官学が共同で実施したGISニーズ調査と空間データ所在調査をもとに 空間データ流通促進のためのクリアリングハウス構築を軸としたGISの広域活用ビジョンと その策定過程で得られた知見について報告する. | |||||||

| 内容記述 | Geographic information systems (GIS) have the potential to become effective tools in furthering the exchange of administrative and local area information. However, in light of related costs, it would prove extremely difficult for each organization connected to the GIS to prepare and provide its own spatial data. Instead, it appears that a system for dispatching and sharing spatial data for the local area is required. This paper presents our vision of a large-scale GIS system application that provides the structure for a "clearinghouse" for the distribution of spatial data. This system is based on an analysis of GIS requirements and the availability of spatial data, which was conducted by a joint effort of related industrial, administrative, and academic organizations. In addition, our paper also presents the results of the analysis itself. | |||||||
