• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 人とコンピュータとの対話機構を対話方式の発展順に論ずる。本稿で明らかにしようとする対話の機構は，利用者の視点から見た大局的なものであって，しかも，主要な対話方式と主要な概念を位置づけることができる程度に精密であることを目指している。本稿では主要な対話方式は次の順に発展しているとしている。すなわち，一括処理，コマンド言語，間接指示・直接指示，と発展してきており，次世代は直接指示・直接操作による方式であるとしている。主要な概念として，実世界と仮想世界，ユーザインタフェース，チャネル，場，融合，直接指示，直接操作などを対話機構の上に位置づける。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper describes a macro model of human-computer interaction and also defines interaction styles based on this macro model. This paper aims at constructing a model which is quite wimple and at the same time precise enough so that it can explain major concepts of interaction styles. The following three interaction styles are the major ones which have been developed so far : batch processing, command languages, and, indirect pointing and direct manipulation. This paper concludes that direct pointing and manipulation is the interaction style of the next generation. The major concepts which this paper, based on the macro model, defines are : real and virtual world, user interface, channel, field, fusion, direct manipulation, and direct pointing.
