• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: ポリゴンで構成される曲面をその頂点（または頂点群）を移動させて変形する際には，形状の連続性を保つことが望ましい．本研究では，局所的で滑らかな変形を実現するために，形状の変形前後の差分を表すオフセット曲面を，B-スプラインの性質を模倣するように構成する．このオフセット曲面は，隣接する頂点の変数の値を参照して離散的に計算されるので，変形の対象となる面上の領域は，ポリゴンのメッシュの網のパターン，位相，および詳細度に関係なく，任意の形で指定できる．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: A method is proposed for deforming a shape of a polygonal mesh by moving a vertex (or a cluster of vertices) of the mesh while preserving its continuous shape. An offset surface is generated as a difference through deformations so as to imitate the features of B-splines in order to realize local and smooth deformations. The offset surface is determined on the basis of discrete calculations that refer variables of nearby vertices, and therefore deformed regions can be specified with arbitrary shapes on a mesh, regardless of the mesh's net pattern, topology, and resolution.
