• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 21世紀初頭のVLSIアーキテクチャは一体どのようなものになっているのだろうか?半導体技術の進歩をバネにして，VLSIはアプリケーション面およびアーキテクチャ面で新しい局面を迎えようとしている．本講演ではアプリケーションの将来像およびそれらがVLSIに対して課す要求を整理した上で，21世紀初頭のVLSIのビジネス・モデル，構成法，そしてアーキテクチャが満たすべき要件について述べる．

Thanks to the inexorable pace of semiconductor advancements, it is inevitable to see some big changes in both of VLSI applications and architectures. This talk will try to give a vision on those VLSI applications and their demands on VLSI architectures, and then to discuss the directions of the future VLSI's business models, design methodology, and architectures.
