内容記述 | The performance of a homogeneous multiprocessor system with common memory contention is evaluated in this paper. A continuous time Markovian queueing network model with symmetric structure is developed and analyzed using a method called moment analysis. The main result of this paper is that the average number of active processors as an important performance measure in the system is derived in a very simple recursive formula. By the formula a proposed performance measure defined as processing power saturation rate is obtained. Some numerical examples are also available to show the usefulness of the obtained result. | |||||||
