• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 自動運転の法律問題はレベルごとに分けて考えるべきである．本稿では，まずレベル 3 に合わせて改正された道路交通法と道路運送車両法について検討し，自動運転は未だ「機能」ではなく「装置」の一つにすぎないことを解説する．その上で，レベル 4，5 になった際には製造物責任法を始め多くの現行法が通用しなくなる問題があることを指摘し，レベル 5 が実用化された場合の将来の法制度がどうあるべきかを検討する素材としている．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: The legal issues of autonomous driving should be considered separately for each level. In this paper, I first consider the Road Traffic Act and the Road Transport Vehicle Act revised for Level 3, and explain that autonomous driving is still just one of the "devices", not the "functions". Next, I pointed out that there is a problem that many current laws such as the Product Liability Act will not be applicable when Levels 4 and 5 are reached. And I use it as a basis for considering what the future legal system should be if Level 5 is put into practical use.
