• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本論文では，メイリング支援システムASKメイルの構造について述べる．ASKメイルはメイルの「読み」，「書き」を支援して，メイルを「管理する」ツールである．メイリング支援システムでは，単に文書を書くということよりも，むしろメイルを読み，返事を書くことを支援する環境を整備することが望まれている．ASKメイルはこの要求に応えるために開発が進められており，メイルの読み，書き，管理のために設けられた機能と，作業に適したインタフェースを備えている．メイルを読むための機能と，書くための機能とでは，要求事項と備える機能が異なるので，利用者が操作するインタフェースは読み，書き，検索などのメイル記述に関する動作に応じた構成と機能を提供している．むろん，各々のインタフェースは独立に機能するが，これらが有機的に結合され，個々のインタフェースが連動することによって，システムの操作性が高まる．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper presents an architecture of the mailing support system ASK-mail. The ASK mail system supports several types of activities for mailing. These activities includes reading and writing mails, and managing a collection of them. In general, it is required that a mailing support system provides not only facilities for writing a mail, but also reading and managing the mails. The ASK mail system has been developing for meeting this requirement. And, this system has window-based graphical user interfaces corresponding to types of activities. Since requirements and functions to the window-based interfaces are different between writing and reading a mail, such window-based interfaces have their own functions. These window-based interfaces are working independently. Also, usefulness are improved by suitably organizing such interfaces.
