• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: ビジネスや研究などでグループでの活動を行ううえで，グループの各メンバの所在を常時把握することが重要であり，これまでにも多くのユーザ位置管理システムが構築されてきた．しかし，従来のシステムでは，システムの柔軟性がなく，インタフェースや利用機器が特定のものに制限されたり，遠隔地からは使いにくいなどの問題があった．本稿では，WWWに加えて，電子メールを採用することで，遠隔地の携帯電話ユーザも利用可能で，システム構築の柔軟性が高いユーザ位置管理システムDevoraの設計と開発を行った．電子メールによる操作に用いるコマンド体系は，特に携帯電話による利用を考慮したものであり，入力文字が少なく効率的に利用できる．各所に，ユーザが自分の位置や行き先を登録し，他のメンバの位置情報を一覧できる様々な種類の端末を配置することで，ユーザ位置を柔軟に取得できるようにした．さらに得られた位置情報を共有することによるいくつかの新しいコミュニケーション手段を実現した．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: When working in business or research,it is always important to know the location of each member of the group.Up until now, many location management systems have been constructed.However,existing systems have so little flexibility that the interface or hardware is limited to a particular one and are difficult to use remotely.In this paper, we try to solve the problem by using an electronic mail system in addition to WWW.The location management system Devora which we designed and implemented can be used by a cellular phone user from a remote place and can be flexibly applied on different system configurations.Since the command system which is used in operation by electronic mail is suitable for a cellular phone user, it is possible to use it effectively with few input characters.By arranging several terminals in various places,Devora is able to flexibly get the users' locations.By sharing the users' locations, we realized several new communication methods on Devora.
