• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 企業などの組織が用いる情報システムの中には，組織外部に開放され部外の一般者からのアクセスを認めているものがある．それらの多くはシステムを通じて商品やサービスを顧客に提供するものであるが，昨今，情報システムを通じて一般者がより深く組織活動にコミットする形のものが増えつつある．このようなシステムを一般者参加型情報システム（OUPIS: Ordinary User Participating Information System）と呼ぶこととすると，OUPIS への参加動機は必ずしも経済的利益にはよらない場合があると考えられる．情報システムは，人間や社会などの環境と相互関係を持ち，それらの一部を構成するものであるため，OUPIS を効果的なものにするには，参加者の目的を把握しその達成に向けた方策を強化することが肝要である．以降，本論では，OUPIS の概要と検討の必要性を示した後，OUPIS と類似した性質を持つコミュニケーション・メディアとしてシェアウェア，OSS（Open Source Software），個人ホームページ，インターネット・コミュニティをとりあげ，これらの利用目的などの把握状況を述べる．それらを基に，OUPIS では経済的交換だけでなく参加者の内的報酬を重視する社会的交換が成立することを示しながら参加目的の類型化を試みるとともに，既存の参加者アンケート項目と比較することにより，その妥当性について考察する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Several Information Systems are open to be accessed by users who aren’t members of the organizations that own these Systems. In these cases, ordinary users may contribute to the activities of the owner organizations through this external access. We call such Information Systems “OUPIS: Ordinary User Participating Information Systems”. These users generally don’t receive any fee from the owner organizations as a reward for their contribution. As Information Systems consist of not only computer systems but also of users and society in general, it’s important to clarify the aims of these ordinary users to increase the effects of OUPIS. In this paper, I first describe the outline and background of OUPIS. Next, I analyze findings from other researches on the aims of users of several communication media similar to OUPIS: shareware, open source software (OSS), personal Web sites, and Internet communities. Then I show that OUPIS involves not only economic exchange, but also social exchange that is reliant on the participants’ inner reward. From this perspective, categories of user access aims in OUPIS are conducted, and a classification derived from it is compared with the published results of several questionnaires for online-community participants to verify the validity of the analysis.
