In pervasive computing, it is necessary to select services according to the current situation and to abort execution to switch services upon change in the situation. However, weaving such actions into service composition flow leads to very complex and non-reusable flow. On the other hand, although frameworks for Service-Oriented Computing provide mechanisms to manage service composition flow and mechanisms for service selection separately, switch of services at runtime has not been dealt with in such frameworks. This study proposes a model to describe a reusable composition process, considering switch of services and execution abort. This study also proposes a framework where behaviors for service selection and switch are described separately.
