内容記述 | Content cache effectiveness in video distribution is mathematically analyzed. Targeted video distribution models are two types. One is simulcast, the other is scalable approach. Simple two layer model is used for the analysis. Caching effect is studied focusing on the amount of required transmission data based on some assumptions with a certain cache hit probability. The result shows that the scalable approach cannot improve the caching effect. | |||||||
