Thus this paper proposes an epoch-making three-term recurrence algorithm for generating oblique ellipses with only two multiplications per point. The key of the method consists in the fact that a pair of the three-term recurrences of trigonometric functions are of the same form. Since the proposed method is simpler than the traditional methods both in setting initial conditions and in generating ellipse arc, this method can be superior or equivalent with respect also to computation cost.
