| 内容記述 | 紀伊半島は，自然信仰の歴史的な価値を持つだけでなく，その特有の地形および気候，植生などの自然環境にも大きな特徴を持つ地域である．和歌山大学は，様々な紀伊半島に関する知的資産を有しており，情報通信技術とこれらの知的資産を有機的に結びつけた積極的な活用が求められている．そこで，本研究ではこれらの知的資産を最大限活用することを目指し，デジタル和歌山プロジェクトを立ち上げた．我々は，デジタルアーカイブの (1) 構築，(2) 収集支援，(3) 利用促進の 3 つの課題を設定し，それぞれの視点から紀伊半島における文化的，歴史的，地理的なデジタルアーカイブの構築および整理，収集を進め，地域の特徴に適した観光利用，教育利用の可能なシステムおよびサービスの実現を目指す． | |||||||

| 内容記述 | Kii Peninsula has historical worth of natural faith. Furthermore, it is an area with the large features, such as the characteristic geographical feature and climate, vegetation, and natural environment. Wakayama University has an intellectual asset about various Kii Peninsula. We will connect these intellectual assets using information and communication technology organically. We launched a new research project, named Digital Wakayama Project. Our research aims at utilizing these intellectual assets to the utmost. We focus attention on three challenges: (1) construction of digital archives, (2) collection support of digital archives, and (3) promotion of utilization of digital archives. We will perform the cultural, historical, and geographical construction of digital archives and arrangement in Kii Peninsula, and collection from each viewpoint. Furthermore, we aim at realization of the system and service suitable for the feature of the area in that sightseeing use and educational use. | |||||||
