• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: わが国では、国民総人口に対する 65 歳以上の割合が年々増加し、世界でも前例のない高齢化社会となっている。高齢化社会が加速する中、内閣府の健康意識に関する調査では、健康を意識している人の割合が高まっており、特に 65 歳以上の高齢者に至っては 6 割以上の人が健康に関する不安や悩みを抱えたまま生活していることが分かっている。こうした状況で家庭に居ながらバイタルサイン （脈拍、血圧） の日常の状態を記録、維持、管理する健康管理機能と、とりわけ高齢者に多い、継続して服用することが必要な高血圧や糖尿病などの薬の服用を管理する服薬管理機能をタブレット型の電話端末、及びインターネット網を介して接続されるサーバーで実現するシステムの開発を行った。本研究の目的は、これらのタブレット型電話端末を用いた健康管理及び服薬管理システムの実用化に向けた社会実験を含む開発を行い、問題点の洗い出しや有効性の検証を行うことである。今回の社会実験では、製品の実用化に向け、高齢者の視点に立った使用上の問題点と製品の各機能に関する有効性を確認することによって、健康管理及び服薬管理システムの基盤を構築することができた。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Japan now experiences unprecedented aged society especially with the ratio of people over 65 years old growing year after year. According to research done by the Cabinet Office, fairly amount of aged people care about their health and in particular over sixty percent of people with the age of 65 or older have worries or problems about the health of themselves or of their spouse. 1)-2) In view of these situations, we have developed health management and medication management systems on a tablet-type phone with a server connected to an Internet, the former of which records, maintains, and manages the daily vital signs such as pulse rate and blood pressure and the latter of which monitors and manages the intake of medicines especially those that need to be taken regularly and continuously such as those for hypertension or diabetes that is seen frequently in aged people. As a step toward the practical use of these systems, we have performed a pilot study involving several aged people, which confirmed the effectiveness of every function of the systems but also revealed the potential problems with the use by these people. With the result of the study, we have earned a basis for practical health and medication management systems.
