By embedding the data in the translation invariant region of the target image, separation of the target image from the background becomes unnecessary. Therefore, the data can be embedded to an arbitrary position in the target image. The code grouping method is also applied to increase the amount of the embedding data. Additionally, the marker detection method in the proposed one is improved to handle the more reduced target image compared to the captured overall image.
