This paper addresses the problem of estimating such diversified intents of Web search users from their search behaviors in real-time. In estimating searcher intents, we focus on their eye movements on the browsed Web pages, and assume that “terms that draw a high degree of searcher's attention are probably relevant to his/her search intent”. Based on this assumption, we proposed four types of search intent estimation methods, and evaluated the estimation accuracy in each method through the experiment.
