information on the Internet is one of important international problems in terms of child protection, and various measures are taken all over the world recently. We investigate users' awareness and situation of harmful information problems on the Internet by international telephone surveys in 10 countries, including Japan. The rate of feeling anxiety about seeing harmful information on the Internet by children was as high as about 80 percent in East Asia and Germany, and users' anxiety become large when users see the news about harmful information in 7 countries in 10 countries.
